My family stayed at this hotel for 2 months while repairs were being done to our home. It was a great stay and you can’t beat the location. The staff were excellent, friendly, and accommodating. Would recommend staying here.

The rooms are clean, if somewhat old. We had a rusty tub. It was nice that we had a full size fridge since we are foodies and there are a million restaurants around here. The parking is valet and to get your car you might have to wait a while, thankfully you can text down since it takes like 15-20 minutes. Everyone was friendly though.

So, I want to start by saying that we decided to returned the visit, and we are very pleased and grateful to the administration and their staff, my husband and I are very glad for the good changes happening, we love the room we are getting in floor 2, and the hallway smell amazing!! The food court downstairs as always it’s the best!!! Immaculate, their staff there in my opinion deserve 100% recognition so thanks for replying to our review, and big thanks for caring, we are happy we will keep coming back as we do every other week, great job!

Staff was very accommodating with an early check in and late checkout, and can even store luggage. Breakfast was included and decent for hotel quality. Appreciated the all day coffee, tea, cocoa! Rooms were spacious! Not too far from Bourbon street but in a more city area with less foot traffic. Great area if you plan on visiting the Aquarium or WW2 museum

I don't have many complaints about this hotel, but my biggest one is that there are no ice machines. From the most basic motels to the nicest resorts, I have never come across one with no ice machine. I was honestly blown away by that. They have bags of ice for sale, but I went to Rouses instead just on principle lol. I understand that the refrigerators in the suites have ice makers, but I turned it on and two hours later there were five ice cubes. Listen here, Homewood Suites!! You need to get ice machines. Period. End of story. My only other complaints are minor. The water pressure in the shower was poor and I was in the midst of a shower when I realized that the shampoo was completely empty. I had to wash my hair with body wash, which dries your hair out like nobody's business. Housekeeping was gone, but we were able to go grab a full bottle from the desk. I do wish Hilton hotels offered free parking for HGV owners, but that's not the fault of the hotel. There are a few garages and lots nearby with cheaper parking, if you don't mind not having valet service. The staff were all friendly when I encountered them and the breakfast spread was one of the better complimentary breakfasts I've had. The location was great for our needs and I was able to check in a bit early, which was appreciated.

View from the balcony was beautiful to wake up to and have coffee in the morning. Pet friendly allowing me to bring my fur baby, close enough to everything to walk, cozy room was bigger and had more accommodations than expected

Great location in the business district with lots of nearby restaurants and attractions. About a 25 minute walk to the French Quarter (or 10min drive). Valet service was $50 a day. Rooms were nice, but definitely lacking in storage space. In our two-bedroom suite with a king, bathroom and kitchenette, there were only TWO dresser drawers total, and they were small. Ok, four if you count the tiny nightstand drawer. The bathroom counter had hardly space for more than soap, toothbrush and a hand towel. Would be nice to have some more room or at least a shelf. Probably fine for a single individual here on business who doesn’t unpack their suitcase, but for 2+ people staying multiple nights, I found it difficult to stay organized with the lack of storage/shelves. The beds were ok but definitely not great. And the sheets/blanket system was a mess; ten minutes into trying to sleep, the sheets became undone, exposing the mattress. It was super annoying to try to get covered with sheets and blankets that didn’t actually fit. The pool was closed for at least two days, which was a bummer- something we were banking on. However, the full-sized fridge and freezer was nice, as well as our large, comfortable sofa. Breakfast and Wednesday reception were both EXCELLENT! Lots of variety and fresh food options. Overall a very nice place. I just think they skimped on functionality in the rooms.

Good hotel in a great location. Very close walking distance to the Superdome, French Quarter and Jackson Square. I recommend booking a parking package through the hotel. The valet service is quick and professional. The front desk staff were all very friendly as well as the morning breakfast crew. The room was very clean and well maintained. The elevator seemed to be a bit sketchy at times, but it did the job. Although we did not eat breakfast most days at the hotel, we did eat breakfast at the hotel our final morning. It wasn't great....and it wasn't bad! I would say it was probably a small step up from the usual hotel breakfast options and did the trick before our drive back home. A local restaurant I would recommend that is within walking distance of the hotel is Willie May's NOLA for the famous fried chicken. The absolute BEST brunch restaurant is Atchafalaya in the garden district. It isn't really walking distance for a meal, but there is plenty of easy to find street parking around the restaurant.
